18th century gardening, frescos and door handles

In the 18th century people like gardening too (and privacy too appearantly) so we decided to restore the iron fence at the back of the terrace so that we can have plants climb onto it. End of next week the restoration of the original mural paintings in the "music room" (living room) will be finished. The have been thoroughly cleaned, and missing pieces carefully reconstructed. It is incredible to see this come to live !!!

We are also adding the bottom part to the door handles. Some doors had a too big key hole so we had to have creative solutions and had some made to measure based on the door handle ( right ), the rest will have an enamel plate looking like a tie covering the key hole ( left ). 18th century galore !
